About this experience
Board a traditional wooden dhow at the Lamu seafront and sail down the channel past Shela towards the open sea. The crew raise the big lateen sail, cut the engine and let the wind do the work while the sun sets over the mangroves. Fresh juice, coconut and grilled seafood snacks are served on deck; swimming stop at Shela if the tide allows.
