A morning on Watamu’s protected reef. A glass-bottom boat takes you out to the coral gardens, where shoals of reef fish gather around the coral heads. Snorkellers stay with a guide at the surface; certified divers (or first-timers on a supervised discover-scuba dive) go down with a PADI instructor. Turtles are often seen.
